    He's had other shitty defenses, it's not just 1. :lol::patsch

    He's taking a tune up fight. Herrera was NOT a tuneup fight, Herrera beat Provodnikov.

    That was a good fight.

    This isn't a high level fight but Roddy is very good

    You completely missed the point.

    I agree Herrera was not a tuneup fight. But taking up a premium card for a tuneup is the problem here, for the money he is getting paid for this tuneup SHO could have put on a real fight with a different fighter.

    If Garcia went to Monaco or something and fought off of Showtime for his tuneup noone would have any issue. (and Adama is 100x better than Salka anyhow, and in actual weight class)

    Rod Salka is very good, and very underrated.

    A lot of top fighters have taken tune up fights, everyone has!

    And they usually fight on premium cards anyhow

    There is nothing wrong here. The Aug 9th card is very good, lots of good fighters, Peterson/Garcia... Very good.

    You're just very biased towards American fighters.

    If he was not American, you would not be saying this. That's a fact!

    So why was it okay for Matthysse to fight John Molina? A 135 lber, someone who was knocked out in 1 round vs DeMarco. Matthysse was an 18-1 favourite....

    Wlad has no standards. Nobody cares what he does anymore.

    Danny was seen as the good guy,a real lineal champion who takes on all comers. Herrera deserves a rematch and a real champion would wipe the slate clean.
    If digs deep he can beat him more decisively. He could of fought better than he did.

    Saying it is a fact that if Garcia wasnt American I wouldnt be saying this? Based on what? I hate to break it to you, but your delusions and reality are completely separate entities.

    WTF does Matty fight have to do with this, or me? Not a damn thing thats what - and that was an undercard fight.

    I'm a big fan of Porter and Crawford and Algieri, and also was the first to speak up when GGG might have had to face Fletcher due to WBA BS that HBO absolutely should not buy that fight if the WBA did not back down. Because garbage fights shouldnt be on premium cable.

    The reality here, which is actually substantiated by facts is that you are a Haymon fan not a boxing fan and carry water for his fighters against all reason or sense.

    Quite a few people at 147 could beat him. I doubt he will be anywhere near as successful as he was at 140.

    He needs to rematch Herrera .. No fights left for him at 140 :patsch

    His father doesn't like the idea of him going to 147 .This doesn't look good .

    Id be surprised if he moved up after his next fight.

    Surely the point of having Garcia and Peterson on the same card is so they can build up a fight for later in the year?
