I read once he was quite a decent fighter. Held the prison title for 10 years, is this true ? I know of him through all his films.......anyone got other info boxing related ? Cheers
great topic, i read about him on wikipedia because i was curious about his personal life and i remember it saying that he held both the light and welterweight titles in prison. i remember that it said that he used his boxing to spring board him into a acting career by first teaching fightins sequences in a movie with eric roberts i think and then they wanted him to be his actual opponent in the movie.

There is a real good documentary out there on the guy. He fought as a welterweight when he did time and that was the extent of his boxing career.
