The following is what Vitali is...

-He is a very tough fighter. Iron chin, never KD'd, never really hurt in the ring.

-He had some of the best reflexes you'll ever see in a HW.

-He beat some alright fighters. Not a great resume, but Sanders, Johnson, Hide, Donald, Williams aren't bad fighters at all.

-He gave Lennox Lewis all he could handle and lost via cuts.

-He is STILL arguably a better fighter than his brother, who is the #1 consensus HW and probably an ATG at this point.

I personally would have no problem putting Vitali in the top 25 HW's of all time...I simply can't think of 25 guys I would pick against a prime Vitali Klitschko. He had some flaws but he was also a brutal fighter who never was outboxed or outslugged.

This kind of sound reasoning is not going to go over well with the Klitschko haters.

What's the point? You would only disagree because of how good he looked against journeymen.

Imagine if Sam Peter retired after the Jeremy Williams fight. Or if Lou Savarese retired before he fought Foreman with a record of 36-0. It's just like the Ike Ibeabuchi over-hype. In fact it's worse - At least Ike managed to beat Byrd! :yep

If you rate Vitali as an ATG, you have to rate Ike higher by the same logic. Ike actually beat better opponents in Tua and Byrd than Vitali ever did.

norton beating vitali? if your life depended on the outcome of this bet i'm sure you wouldn't bet on norton. china chinned liston would not be able to handle the much bigger vitali. i would favor vit to beat 5 of those matchups, 5 are 50/50.

All fighters are ****...haven´t you realized that yet ?

Vitaly was **** cause he fought nothing but B-C level fighters.

Lewis was **** because he beat great fighters at the wrong point in their careers.

Wlad Klitschko is **** because he lost 3 times and now he fights in a style that doesn´t please all computer twerps around here.

ATG and HOF, what the f*ck is that ???

Matching up present fighters versus legendary names in theory isn´t worth much...it holds no water what so ever.

And all this **** about quitting/ducking/running/holding/cheating bla bla bla...
    It´s gotten really old.

If you don´t like a certain fighter for what ever f*cking reason. then don´t watch him fight.

Overrated/underrated apply to every single fighter discussed on this forum...so that´s really a cliche´.

Get over this, and look forward.

It would be rather intresting to hear what some of you guys would say if Vitaly the quitter beats Peters ass this fall.

All threads are about fighters beeing **** because they have only beaten **** fighters.

It doesn´t matter if it is because the poster doesn´t know anything about those figters or not...the conclution is that everyone is **** in one way or another.

There are no unblemished fighters....and there are no complete fighters, but damn this sport is great anyway.

I know that this thread is not about Vitaly beeing ****, it´s about him beeing overrated by some....wow, big deal...he is overrated by some, just like every other fighter that competes at top level.

He is also underrated by many, as well.
