Danny Williams KO 4 Mike Tyson "One of the biggest wins in British boxing history"

One thing about Danny ( ignoring TS usual idiocy ) is i remember he used to be scared shitless heading to the ring and admitted as much. So if this is true why has he carried on so long? Hes still going now isnt he, been shot for years but still plodding along getting battered off journeymen. He cant be skint surely ?

 

To be honest.... It was a HUGE ****ing upset.

Not even close to being one of the biggest wins in british boxing. Tyson was so faded, an on top of that injured in the fight. Danny was gonna go to sleep before mike blew his knee out

 

Danny took some murderous combos in that fight, deserves alot of respect. But They contributed to his demise, couldnt take a shot after that. Tyson threw an uppercut which lifted danny of his feet (19stone i think). i remmeber a while back FrankW saying danny needs to retire coz his house is paid for, and he got cash. Maybe he as overcome his fears to late in his career and just loves to box now. Either way, if u reading this Danny..As Sallaamu Alaikum Akhee, and stay retired.

Give Danny a bit of credit. Tyson was shot but Danny was still rightly regarded as a massive underdog for the fight, after being shaken up first round and Tyson hurting his knee, Danny did what he had to do and executed.

Massive heart Danny Williams, as someone said - he deserved his day in the sun. He also got the chance to fight Vitali for the World Heavyweight Championship bravely losing one sidedly.

It's a lot more than most could hope for.
