It's reported on the scene that's he's not fighting in germany this weekend..phew.

If its true then I have no sympathy for him. He was terrible in his last few fights and Chisora battered him. He's going to get hurt.

 

Its bad news but I expected it with Danny.I did not think he would be able to stay away.

 

Agreed, this is why I didn't wholeheartedly join in the last retirement thread for Danny (or the 6 before that...) Somethings, you really hope to be wrong about.

He looked utterly done against Chisora. I could go for the cheap joke and say Danny needs the money or else Mr. Kipling sends the boys with crowbars round, but sadly it's likely he genuinely does need the cash and can't think of turning his hand to anything else.

Give him cans and he can probably still get wins, but scratching around Germany for spare change is a pretty sad way to end things.
And if he's planning on getting an easy win or two to convince someone decent to give him a fight, even more worrying.

 

I don't want this, nobody wants this. I had my fingers firmly crossed a year or two ago that we'd see the end of Harrison and Williams, but like skidmarks on your favourite underwear these two just won't fade away.

 

He's not coming back this weekend.

 

I'm one of his biggest fans but I think this is terrible news. He is so shot it's unreal. He will get himself hurt.
