**** like this pisses me off Porr Danny gets the shaft, i hope they rematch somewhere else, Danny knock this guy the **** out

 

this fight was an absolute *******! more action in four rounds than in most 12rounders. of course platov's corner was motivated to stop it before the 5th round. williams would have probably finished him, but i'm not sure of his stamina. williams is just an exciting fighter: he is hurt in every fight but he always fights back. i am a official danny williams fan by now.

 

It was a headbutt that caused the cut . I think anyone could tell that after seeing the replay.

WTF do you expect the "American Ref" to do?

 

There is no way Platov will give Danny a rematch after this, no way.

If he is wise he will let Williams fade back into obscurity.

 

I didn't see this fight as I was watching the Irish card but Danny Williams is a rollercoaster........so many highs and lows and unbelieveably inconsistant . But the one thing you always get from Danny is heart , the man just doesn't know when to quit(as the Potter and Klitschko fights show)

 

stopping it in the 2nd round when the cut was worse? Stopping it 40 seconds before they go to scorecards to protect the fighter = Germany at its best

 

You claim the cut was worse, when it was first happend? You think Platov getting punched constantly for the next two rounds made the cut better.

Platov was kicking Williams ass before the cut, afterwards Platov done nothing and wanted to quit.

 

Williams was clearly underestimated, he walked through a beating in the first two rounds and once he started to punch back Platov folded like a lounge chair.

the stoppage was very fishy, Williams was gonna knock him out soon

 

Platov was knocking Williams all over the ****ing ring. He gets cut, and just totally stops fighting back.

Platov has a weak mindset, I have no doubt of that. I really kind of think acted like a *****. He could of won that fight, but he wanted to quit the second he was cut. It was certainly a headbutt though

 

the corner, especially that little american geezer should have just stopped it at the end of the third and called it a n/c

if the fight had gone to the end of the 4th williams would have won because platov took a knee in the second stupidly and williams won the third and 4th.

platov does have a great chin though, williams landed some peachs in there and while staggered and hurt he took them well enough not to go down.

The cut was probably the best thing that could of happend to Williams. Because Williams was getting his ass whooped before the cut. I dont think anyone will argue that? Williams was already rocked like 10 seconds into the fight.
