That's how Danny's gonna spell it if he gets hit in the head a couple more times!

This sums up everything I ****ing hate about boxing in one neat little package. Some shady promoter putting a mentally and physically ****ed fighter into a fight for a made up organisations made up title. ****ing sickening.

He is doing it of his own choice, as he has said he is doing it because he is enjoying boxing. People climb cliffs into their 60's, jump off waterfalls, take drugs, jump out of planes... Then Danny comes along and wants to box and it's "OH NO HE'S GETTING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF!, ITS SICK!, IT NEEDS TO STOP!", get ****ed

Prime Danny Williams: was he world class at any point? did he ever really have a prime? he was the main man at british level around the turn of the century but was never truly dominant

I'm not saying it isn't his own choice, I am saying it shouldn't be though.

There is a reason he can't get a licence to fight in any remotely professionally regulated country, he doesn't have the faculties to make the decision himself.

The Williams I had the misfortune to see at Upton Park against Derek Chisora loses against all of them listed above and quite badly to some, sadly.

If you enjoyed rock climbing and you fell and hurt your foot 20 times, and one day the doctor said "look if you do this 3-4 more times you could permanently damage your foot, because of this I banning you from Rock Climbing"... you would tell them to go get ****ed

No, he says he just enjoys boxing and wants to continue in the sport

There should be an element of free-will, after all an Evander Holyfield who was told to retire after losing to Larry Donald nearly went on to beat Nickolay Valuev some 3 years later (though he should retire now, in my opinion), but men as shot as Danny Williams getting seriously hurt give our sport a very bad name.

I got no problem with this. The man enjoys boxing and is doing this to carry on ticking over. He knows he is shot and cannot compete at a higher level.

Wish him good luck with the fight.
