Fighting Janne "Finnish Butterbean" Katajisto on September 8 isn't enough pain in one month for Danny so he's also fighting Christian Hammer on the 28th in Germany on a card that will be live on Eurosport. http://boxrec.com/show_display.php?show_id=649650 From what I've seen of Hammer, he has decent power and is on a similar level to someone like Sprott. We know that Danny doesn't need the money, the only conclusion I can come to now based on what I've heard is that he just enjoys fighting, though god knows why after being brutally sparked by Leif Larsen last time out.
I have no idea but I read an interview where he said he sends his kids to private school. Plus several people on here have said he owns two properties. He's certainly not struggling for money, let's put it that way.
From what i understand danny is well set up having invested in property, he continues for the love of the game and he hasn't fought for a while so who can begrudge him a tune up before his bbu title fight. Danny wants to finish on a win and a title, this shld be it...
This fight is actually scheduled for 20 days AFTER his BBU title fight. That looks like a tune up for this as Hammer is far better than Katajisto. I predict Danny will lose both fights (Katajisto by narrow decision, Hammer by KO)
Oh, well, i didn't click the link as I was on my notsosmartphone and assumed it was 28th of this month for the Hammer fight... Well, that told me, eh? For what it's worth I predict that Danny will win both fights. But what do I know...
Last time Williams arranged a subsequent bout he got KO'd by Sosnowski, he was due to fight in Egypt less than 30 days later. Rules state that you can't fight for 30 days after being KO'd. Butterbean will win this, history will repeat!
Danny Williams was training to be a security guard or something wasn't he? Reckon he could escort himself out? Danny Williams to role back the years, KO round 4 vs the fat finish bloke from down the pub. Then onward and upwards...Bitchscho next...
