According to Boxrec, these two are fighting each other in January. Who in their right mind would sanction this? They are both shot beyond belief and should have retired years ago. :-(
Botha is still a bit tricky, even though he's completely shot himself. I think he wins this fairly easily, and convincingly... More convincingly than Maskaevs performance against Williams last year.
Am I a sadist/bad boxing fan for finding this match amusing? I chuckled at the thought of it when it was first made a year or two ago(ended up falling through) At least it's better than seeing the two beat up on by prospects, fringe contenders and in Williams case journeymen.
It will be intriguing if nothing else lol Botha should win, he hasn't fallen as low as losing to guys like Tomas Mrazek and debutants yet. I feel the fight may resemble two middle aged drunkards having a punch up outside a pub at closing time.
:rofl Botha is still cagey enough to beat a supremely conditioned athlete like SBW(not a great boxer, but still) trouble a fringe contender like Wawrzyk for a few rounds, went the distance with Pianeta, and went almost 11 rounds with Takam. Botha is WAY past his best, but still pretty cagey. He's nowhere near being at the Williams level of shot.
