Danny Williams vs Manuel Charr on the Sturm/Macklin card

    Boxrec has this on their schedule, I've seen nothing about it anywhere else so it might not happen, but holy ****. When Williams began his bum of the month tour in Germany I didn't really have a problem with it, even though he's beyond shot. I figured that as long as he's fighting complete no-hopers that's fine, and it'll help him get the desire to fight out of his system before his retirement.

    But now it looks like he's going to be used to pad someone's record and as it's on the Macklin card we'll probably have to watch it. Charr's nothing special really but this will be a slaughter and a sad spectacle.

    Is it really down to money or what? I thought he might have just enjoyed fighting and thats why he stepped down a level. I hope Danny KTFO this guy and retires though

    Not sure what is the best outcome here I obviously don't want to see Williams beat but if he wins he then has a reason to carry on

    This is Charr fighting sherman williams who recently basically beat Holyfield, looks quite decent

    So this fight is really happening then. A sad spectacle as Danny is beyond shot, but as many people thought after his last two easy wins he thinks he can mix with decent fighters again, which he just can't. Charr TKO1.

    Danny has been totally shot for at least 5 years, I am surprised he is even allowed to fight.

    I can't believe Williams is still going!?

    Mind you, if he's still enjoying it and getting into reasonably good condition, then good luck to him.
