what do you guys think would happen in a match between the two. personally it would be a boxing match id like to see i think it would be a large enough draw to give Danny a good world title push if he was motivated enough. i think Danny would take this fight probably be late knockout either way the fight would more than likely be very interesting while it lasted. id put a poll up but i cant figure out how to make one

i think danny coudl ko him. peter has meager stamina and danny is as tough as he comes. oyu cant keep him down.
also it's been solid striagh tpunches that have put danny away. hooks he can bob and weave under ...but striaghts he just walks into them like nobodies business.sinan sam, all he did was throw a pawing jab crosses and he couldnt miss williams.peter doesnt have the striaght punch and has been known to get dropped and tagged pretty hard by peeps

i think a danny williams ud coudl be possible

Boxing match? Danny has no mental fortitude whatsoever. His a mental puff pastry. Trust me as crude as Peter is if they fought tommorow Danny would be nothing more than his usual punching bag. Danny is NOT world class. He never has been and never will. Prior to his drubbing by Sam most thought he was on the cusp of world class. It was then most realised that mentally and physically Danny just doesnt have the right mix to make it with the best heavies. This would be quick and fairly brutal.

A prime Danny Williams would get KOed by Peter pretty easy. Williams was never a genuine world talent and only had what it takes to be a fringe Euro level competitor. A this point in time I doubt Williams would get through more than 3 rounds.

The Danny who was so nearly KO'ed by McDermott? Lost to Audley and Skelton?

People get so mixed up on here between reputation and actual capability at this moment in time

Peter would up the pressure until Danny simply ran out of steam and had to be rescued around the seventh, that's how I see it

Danny would probably try cheating his way into a dq loss so he does not lose too much face.

dannys overated by some british for the fact that he is actually british, pete would dismantle him rather easily. he isnt world class even when he turns up unfortunally.

Danny Williams claim to fame is that he stopped Tyson.

Other than that he hasnt done shiot at either British,Euro or World level and what makes it more annoying is that the Boxing pundits always make up excuses for the guy.

Just got to get this in as well just so everyone knows Tyson was done at that stage in career but was still owning Williams up until he injured himself, and Williams stopped him. Its sad i know but some people dont recognise this.

Peter as **** as he is would walk through Williams in around 3 to 4 rounds.

A Ud over an undefeated olympic Gold medalist and the win over Skelton, plus decent wins over Keli Meehan, Mark Potter and Julius Francis... if anything your underrating him.

Not in the slightest. If you look at his win over "an olympic gold medalist" you`ll see the victory was utterly shambolic and one of the worst heavyweight fights in British history. Couple this with the fact that Audley has been flattered by his gold medal and in the pro ranks has been proven to be nothing more than hot air and his victory has even less meaning. As for Potter and Julius as much as i like Jules his a journeyman and so was potter who up until the time that Danny dislocated his arm in that fight was beating him around the ring. The Meehan fight wasnt an indication of anything. Meehan is nothing more than a journeyman who got caught cold. The reality is Danny is a quality domestic heavy. But his NOT the best in Europe and thus his not even good enough as a fringe contender.

But none of those names are stand out names.

The Harrison win can be seen as what it was an awful fight and Williams was destroyed in the rematch.

Skelton exacted revenge in the rematch but to be fair Williams shouldnt be losing to Skelton if he has World level aspirations.

All the rest of the fighters are decent domestic.area level journeymen.

They are good wins dont get me wrong for any boxer who sint talking World titles and being a top ten fighter at his weight.

Danny Williams is done and to be honest i dont think he has long left at domestic level.

Im not underating him, i see him for what he is, a decent but very erratic British level fighter.

Williams is not going to win this

    his last performance was dreadful

but even a peak Danny Williams is not going to win

Peter is up there competing with the Klitshkos

    Williams is not

Williams got a frightful beating from big Vitali

even Frank Warren suggested he pack it in then in 2004

whats a extra 4 years going to do

he is just older and fat and a glutton for more punshiment

Danny Williams could barely scrape past John McDermott (who in reality was robbed)
