Danny Williams: What the **** is he doing?

He looks terrible. He might end up with a negative record, but the guy has to make a living...

 

The problem is in sunday league you don't get the head punched off you (well, not that often) his family are going to have to pull him aside and have a serious word with him

 

It's more a worry about his health than his record

 

The problem is you don't get brain damage or die playing Sunday League, Boxing is different if you fight to long you will get hurt and sadly i fear for Danny in the future he will be a mess.

I doubt he loves doing it.

 

It does seem a shame to see Williams losing often and does cause concerns for his health. Nobody wants to see anyone get hurt and Danny has put so much into boxing and was an excellent proud British champ.
I thought Danny was past his best around the time when he lost to Skelton and Harrison in a row and after that seemed to have mixed performances.
Always was a fan of Williams

 

He won today against Mazur Ali

 

In a recent interview Danny had said the reason why he's still fighting is to pay for his kid private schooling

He also dodged the ignominy of ten consecutive losses.

He shouldn't be sanctioned anymore, but you can't knock his reasons for cracking on.

I was always a fan of Danny as well. He got a good win though after those defeats to Skelton and Harrison when he beat Scott Gammer for the British Title.

I think what happens is this these guys spend too much money thinking they are gonna get the same income forvever

Then when their stock drops they are used to livinf a good life then evenally they havent got alot left
