Danny Williams is a legend, one of the most respected british fighters of all-time.

And i don't think it is totally over for him still..nope..not for Danny.

Potter was **** and lost to anyone with a winning record who hah had more than 5 fights. Beating him never made Williams world or Euro class, just an ok domestic fighter who had a better reputation than his talent and heart warrented. Every time he stepped up he was embarrassed.

look at his physique in that potter fight, if he'd kept himself in that sort of shape his career wouldnt be in tatters right now.

with the dodgy points deduction at the end (when mcdermott was hurt, holding on to williams and putting pressure on his arm) i had the fight even.

DANNY Williams has vowed to carry on boxing despite his disastrous loss to Albert Sosnowski on Saturday night.

The 35-year-old was stopped in the eighth round by the unheralded Pole - and the shock defeat means his glamour fight with Frans Botha in Egypt at the end of the month is off.

But the Brixton fighter told the South London Press: "I’ve no intention of retiring. People said a similar thing after the manner of my defeats to Matt Skelton and Audley Harrison but I beat Scott Gammer to win the British title in my next fight.

"I’ve got to go back to the drawing board and do everything right. If I come back and I’m not myself it will be goodbye. I’ve had a good career, boxing for England as an amateur and have beaten Henry Cooper’s record for British and Commonwealth title defences, but I’m no fool and won’t keep fighting like Evander Holyfield."

This idiot is going to get seriously hurt if he continues like he is. I am surprised those close to him like Parrera, Fearon etc are not telling him to quit.

    Well, he's going on then...

He's still got his British and Commonwealth belts, guess he doesn't want to drop them. I get the feeling it won't be over until a domestic rival sparks him and takes them.

Matt Skelton would outbox him again but I doubt anyone is willing to put up any money for such a fight.
