No-hoper beats Danny Williams by Own Correspondent 31 December 2013, 12:12 Danny Williams has won 45 professional fights; 34 by knockout. This week he lost to a man who had lost 45 of his 59 fights. The British heavyweight, who once beat Mike Tyson, was beaten on points in Prague on Monday night when he took on a Czech who had won only 8 of his 59 professional fights. Tomas Mrazek won the bout on a split decision. Two judges made him the winner, 60-54 and 57-56 and the third had Williams ahead 58-57 after six rounds. Mrazek now holds a record of 9 wins (5 by knockout), 45 defeats and six draws. Williams lost for the 20th time in a career of 65 professional fights. The Briton has also lost to Vitali Klitschko, Dereck Chisora, Audley Harrison and Matt Skelton, but has beaten some useful opponents in a career that began in 1995. In 2002 he knocked out South African Anton Nel in the fifth round. Williams has lost ten of his past twelve fights nine in a row but will always be remembered for knocking out former heavyweight champion Tyson in the fourth round in Louisville, Kentucky, in July 2004. Five months later he fought Vitali Klitschko for the WBC title in Las Vegas, and stuck around until the eighth round before he was stopped. However, the 40-year-old Brixton Bomber has probably not been really fit for a long time and failed to knock out Mrazek, who might be the opponent with the worst record Williams has ever faced. On the same card, Roman Kracik lost on a split decision to Lukas Horak, who was making his professional debut. Kracik had beaten Mrazek in one of his 48 previous bouts. http://www.supersport.com/boxing/international/news/131231/Nohoper_beats_Danny_Williams
Despite his record mrazek can actually fight and has a very good chin. Williams is now only a journeyman and maybe his other options to fighting are security work or some manual labour so he will rather box on. But what about his health you say? Compared to the lifestyle most boxers lead after boxing maybe this is a better option as he is keeping fit at least.
Vitali absolutely destroyed him and that was 10 years ago, hes never been the same fighter since, he never was much to start with anyway, he just had a higher profile for his **** ability I dont know why he gave Skelton & Harrison rematches after he beat them!! that was some dumb ****. as a Muslim I supported him and used to praise him but deep down I knew he was a Bum
