What? When? Danny was eating jabs the 1st half of the fight. Landing the occasional body shot doesn't outweigh 50 jabs that inflicts visible damage. If Danny inflicted any damage I couldn't see it.

i had it 7-5 garcia... someone could have even given garcia first 5 rounds and i wouldnt argue too much...peterson didnt do much in early half...yes he won the 2nd half rounds more clearly than danny won first half rounds...but fight is about who wins more rounds, not who gets a bigger pizza face

Can't disagree with the win , Peterson threw fight away in the early rounds ..he was elusive but wasnt doing anything at the same time ..I wondered why he was running like that .if he fought like he was doing in later rounds it would've been a fairly easy win..We just got to accept the fact Peterson will never change ..he just a late starter ....

I personally thought was very tough to score for the first 7 rounds, a case can be made for both fighters and a split decision either way was fair.

I though Peterson shaded it, and I dislike the man as I feel any cheat should be banned for life and he should not be able to make a living from this sport anymore.

 

In a way this fight reminded me of BJS vs Eubank JR. Eubank gave the first 6 rounds away doing basically nothing and came on strong towards the end. Too little to late if you want to convince these judges. You can't take risks like that.
