I really dont see the problem with Green calling out Mundine.
Choc has said many times he will fight him at any weight.
they both dont have any fights lined up at the moment,if Choc wins again,he will be able to gloat even more.I actually believe the Mundine fans are scared for it to happen,as they know he has slid backwards whilst Danny is looking really fit,n powerful.
And at the end of the day they will earn a **** load of money.

 

Should I be surprised that luds couldn't even name ten boxers?

 

Choc will fight Green at any weight.....this time its for the CW title.....however you cant think Mundine will jump 3 divisions to fight for a world title....can you?

He will move to SMW first to fight Wood

BTW...has anybody ever jumped 3 divisions to fight for a world title and won?

 

Im not sure Ash if anyones jumped 3 divisions and won.
But he is starving himself to make middleweight,whilst it might be for cruiserweight,danny only weighs in around 81 kg,so its not that big a jump now is it.

 

I would say a 9kg advantage in boxing from MW to CW is everything

 

Ash i know your a big fan of his,but dont be making exscuses for him now,he has stated many times he whould fight him at any weight.And just think he if he won again,

 

The step up in weight won't be an issue for this fight it just means that he can't drop down again safely at this stage in his career especially if he's got a view to competing at 154. :deal

 

What's the bigger challenge...

Mundine going up to Greens weight to fight, or

Green improving to the point where he can actually beat Mundine.

Green is not a natural cruiser and never will be. He's proved before light heavy is his go.

Mundine is only where he is because he starved himself to get there, and who knows why? It's really only a matter of him eating again and returning to his own natural weight, or just above - the only question will be whether he has long enough to do it in a satisfactory manner.

 

mate you're from WA and a Green fan as was i but when Mundine schooled him at SMW he went to LHW because he apparently had to cut 3kg of muscle mass despite before the fight telling us how great his diet training etc were after Salas became his trainer.he left SMW because he was beaten by the weakest title holder and his nemesis Mundine.now you think its o.k for Mundine to go from MW to CW.**** even a 43 year old Hopkins met Pavlik at 170.
Greeny wants to avenge a loss,make money and have all
the advantages stacked in his favour.hes actually a good fighter to watch and support when Mundine isnt in the picture.
