How does this go at 147? I dont' think Garcia's counter puncher back foot style suits him at all for any of these fights.
Thurman beats him but there's always that possibility Garcia lands a counter on Thurman's suspect chin. Garcia loses to Brook worse than Porter did. Garcia vs Porter is toss up, that's close fight. I got it like this. Thurman vs Garcia: Thurman by KO6 > Garcia by KO4 This fight doesn't go the distance, the ONLY reason I give Garcia a chance is because of Thurman's suspect chin. Garcia vs Brook: Brook by UD 118-110 Garcia vs Porter: 115-113 either way, @ 147 I favor Porter though. At the moment, until Garcia takes a tune up at 147 or shows some improvement, I can't pick him. I think he's fallen in love with his left hook and needs a new trainer. His dad has taken him as far as he can. But then again, Garcia always seems to prove people wrong whether they pick him or against him. He's better as the underdog.
I would favor Thurman and Brook over him but against Porter I don't really know so I basically agree with alexthegreatmc.
I think Garcia's a little underrated by some, he's beaten everyone (ok maybe not Herrera) he's faced, including khan and Mattysse. he can adapt his style to different fighters, and had good chin and decent boxing IQ, after a few warn up fights at 147 I think he'll have the better of Thurman and porter. Reckon the brook will beat him though.
As of now Garcia and Broner only care about easy money fights that's why us fans shouldn't support them.
I got Danny over Porter by KO. Porter is reckless as hell and would get countered HARD. The Thurman fight is a toss up. I think Brook would give Garcia hell.
