    If he shared your confidence, he would have signed the contract!

    I read the article too, they are looking for Montiel now. They will have to put up more money than Hasegawa though.

    It also said Donaire made a blueprint of how to reach Manny Pacquiao status which ends with him reigning at 130.

    I had feeling it was going to be;

    Montiel vs Donaire.

    GOOD fight two gentlemen who don't talk trash.

    Darchinyan as well.

    I don't what is the problem with Donaire, but he needs to fight a quality opposition by now, after those series of tune-ups.

    I don't care what sort of problems Donaire has.

    He has had all the time in the world to sort them out.

    Time to step up, or I have to stop being a fan.

    Bad news. Donaire was one of those who had amateur experience. A rare Filipino boxer with the potential for technical excellence (the next Penalosa rather than the next Pacquiao). Now he's just getting old and fighting bums will hurt your learning curve much more than being inactive.

    Shaw got scared for Darchinyan. I believe it was Darchinyan's team that declined the fight.

    Donaire should just move on and not try to fight Darchinyan. Donaire should be looking at Montiel instead.

    he did. it's was all good from their part. shaw and darchinyan were the ones who begged off. i think their reason concerned TV rights or something. donaire is pissed that this fight aint happening

    From what can be seen, Darchinyan stood Donaire up in the signing. Shaw said that the money previously agreed upon was not good all of a sudden.

    Darchinyan must be really afraid of a rematch if this is true.
