A little premature, but, Gary Shaw has asked the WBA for permission to fight Nonito "The Filipino Flash" Donaire next if Vic gets by Rojas next month. Whew, look forward to that!:happy

Finally this fight should have happen a while back. I see donaire winning this fight again either by TKO/Ko or decision.

Great to hear...Vic has wanted this for a while, good to see that Shaw can get over himself for 3 secs and stop being a ****.

Vic is heading for another loss but its the best fight out there for him.

Though he has to takes care of business against Rojas first...who has been in pretty good form lately.

Kind of past the perfect time to have this now. . . . but better late than never I guess, although Vic needs to wisen up a bit, when fights smart he's pretty much unbeatable, when he fights dumb he loses. Don't want to take away from Agbeko or Donaire and their victories but Vic can do better than he did in those fights

I actually like it more now. We've gotten a better look at the dimensions of both. They've both fought good-to-great opposition since, making even bigger names for themselves. It'll be interesting to see now with the roles reversed, Vic coming in as a big underdog.

yeah I guess you're right, just that the noise has died down a bit. For a while there were lots of fans from both sides screaming for the fight to be made and that is all they would talk about.

Hopefully being the underdog will inspire Vic to fight smarter, would love to see a real war between these two. Still think Vic might lose his cool though. He said it would never happen again but it has, so I'm not as sure as I used to be that he has the mental toughness. He's tough, but if rattled he only sees one thing, a big KO as the way to victory

Good. Time for Donaire to shine, now that Pac has had few fights left

Hmmm i dont know but i think im in the minority that
this rematch doesnt benefit donaire that much....
primarily because he decisively won their first match...
so he has nothing else to prove against vic...

Nevertheless, ill still watch it lols....
