If Darchinyan beats Agbeko and Penalosa wins against whoever his next mandatory is, then Penalosa-Darchinyan seems like a no-brainer. Two fearless fighters unifying, with tons of plot lines.

WBO bantamweight title. that's why the penalosa-lopez card was called champion versus champion

no because he was fighting for the 122 title, if he won, he could choose which to keep.

you started to watch boxing yesterday or something?

Nah its all good.Penalosa is a bit of a punching bag though. He is going to be brain dead if he doesnt retire soon.I wouldnt put him in there with another pucher.

i dont know man. i think it's time gerry hangs them up for good. i dont want to see him suffer like the other older fighters because gerry is such a nice person. he has a great chin but i think it is now at a point when this becomes dangerous because he will take many too many headshots and being knocked out is the body's defense mechanism. i gerry takes too much shots, he may suffer down the road.

i think gerry has proven himself already. he should just help make the younger fighters better.

nope, that's not the case. that's only done when you hold regional belts then challenge for the world championship. if you are a world champion and you want to challenge another champ in another weight, you get to keep your belt, but if you win, you get to choose what you want to keep.

hope it cleared things up for you
