We'll see. GBP is interested w/ Vic. They have money and power to snatch him from a small time promoter like Shaw. They also have HBO to back them up. And that means more money from PPV.

Dude are you a bit thick? you can't just switch promoters when you have a legally binding contract with another one, look at Kesslers situation and many of don kings fighters over the years they cant just walk out with out goin to court etc, are you just new to boxing and its politics?

I'm glad we have 'small time' promoters. They don't have the money and TV dates to play it safe and build up protected careers on PPV (Chavez Jr.), so they are forced to take risks to get into prime position, and that's a whole lot better for boxing. A smart match-maker might have never put Vic in the same ring with Donaire, Kirilov and Mijares. Now Vic lost to Donaire, but now is looking to a HOF career, fighting the 4th champion in a row in his 3rd division, and it's no careful risk taking.

WTF are you on? i damn near posted 2 pages on this thread about how much i wanna see this rematch with you :patsch. dont try and flip some nonsense on me just b/c i proved that your guy nonito is in a shittier position.

and yet viC is still the more marketable fight landing bigger fights here in the US where it counts most. -i guess thats why your 3rd world ass cant see the big picture.

if nonito didnt need vic he wouldnt be bumping his gums about him and living off the past. if vic loses his next fight nonito will still be there waiting... you make it seem so easy for nonito to just land 'big fights' when he's not a highly marketable fighter. -i thought you had common sense, but i guess not.....

    you dumbass :rofl

Gary Shaw should do a self analysis on why all his named fighters are leaving his camp.

The source that I quoted said Agbeko is his last fight w/ Shaw. :deal After this, Vic may accept better offers. I think at his age, Vic will consider attractive offers which Shaw can't match or give. Transferring companies is nothing new in day to day life, boxing business is no different. :nono

Assuming you're correct, Vic is perceived to be ducking a fighter who made him do the chicken run.

Assuming you're correct that he has a fan base in the US which I doubt, don't you think his clout as fighter can carry this fight considering that Nonito has the rep of having beaten him brutally. It can be hyped as a revenge fight, right?

    i
Well, he has to mention Vic because he was asked by the press about it, dumbass. If Vic loses, he will lose the luster. I don't think this fight will become attractive to boxing afficianados as compared to Vic's status now.

Yeah, let me repeat: Vic needs this fight, Nonito does not need it although boxing fans want it at this point. If he loses to Agbeko, forget about it.

If Darchinyan can get on HBO through GBP, He kind of has to do it. Someone pointed out the disparity in pay between an HBO televised and a showtime televised fight was at least half as large.

I just wonder how often he'll be able to headline on HBO. Whereas with Showtime he's a guaranteed SCB main event basically every time he fights. However, if this leads to him getting a rematch with Donaire, then I suppose I'm excited.

Well HBO often times had Arce main eventing so I guess if they HAVE to, he'll main event.

Probably not often enough though. One of the other benefits is that he'll find his way onto PPV which is where a lot of fighters make good coin.

Hmm, BS you'll.Shaw loves Darchi..FACT..Ahahahhaha lol. That's his fav boy right there.DArchinyan is a solid investment because he is an exciting boxer than Nonito. That's why SHAW is loyal to Darchi. But its still a ***** move IMHO to leave a fighter out with no real opportunity after KO'eing your cash cow.
