wake up champ, Nonito is now fighting a junior flyweight !!!! He has fought no one since he fought Vic.

I like his new name - Nonito Rahman , very fitting indeed.

I really think that Vic would punch holes through him if they meet again. Nonito holds his hands dangerously low. Vic took him for granted the first time round, have a look at what happened to mijares when everyone doubted darchinyan , he ripped Mijares in half.

    Yep

A rematch would still be great though

There are some real precious fans here.

When has fighting quality opposition and winning two titles on the way disqualified you from seeking a rematch with the man who beat you and then did a "Bika" and dropped off the earth?

Vic has gotten better but can revert to bad habits. Donaire - good fighter when they met, is he great and why would he not want to get unify the division?

Donaire didn't look exactly great against Concepcion, maybe he had that hand problem and the fact his interim title was not at stake.

However I would like to see a rematch. The last one was at flyweight, and question remain if Donaire can carry his power up to super fly.

There's no problem with wanting a rematch with the man who beat you. But Darchinyan is acting like a piece of ****, and has done since he was brutally kayoed by Donaire. He gave Donaire no credit, despite being thoroughly outboxed and then knocked senseless. If he had just been a man about it and said 'Fair enough, I was beaten by the better man, but I'd love a rematch' then I think people wouldn't be so hostile about it.

Has Vic made an offer or just run his mouth? He can say what ever he likes in the press.

this is ******ed. donaire has always wants to fight big names including fighting vic again even if he had stopped him already. shaw was the one hiding vic from a donaire rematch.

Shaw is on the record saying he does not want Vic fighting Donaire, at least not immediately.

Well I am not arguing that. I am arguing your logic that Shaw DOES NOT want Donaire for Vic.

well montiel certainly did not want a piece of nonito when he backed out of a supposed scheduled fight. and a fight with mijares was not as enticing as before he got beaten by vic. it's not nonito's fault that even the japanese champs don't want to fight him either. for them, nonito is too risky for such a little reward.

well he fights like floyd but the difference is no one wants to fight him because he doesn't bring money to the table whereas everyone wants to fight floyd but floyd can cherry-pick. nonito can't afford to pick anyone who wants to fight him. montiel, shaw and the japanese champions doesn't want him. it's only now that vic is even considering fighting nonito again just because of his failed expedition into the higher weights.
