Tricky fight for Vic. I reckon Mijares is overrated.one thing Vic has that Mijares has neva had to deal with is, spppppppppeeeeed and power. Mijares has neva seen anything like Vic. That guy is gonna get a shock of his life..BIG chance for VIC.Dar will get bamboozled and painted with Mijares sneaky punches buh I got a feelin Mij will get caught ... :p

I havent seen enough of Mijares to pick who might win it. It would be good to see Vic win though.

Sorry guys , I posted this on the Worldwide Forum, I mean no disrespect to anyone on the Aussie Forum, but YES Im a HUGE RAGING BULL FAN, and Im sick of some of these guys writing him off so quickly !!

This is what I wrote -
Most of you guys have no idea !!

Which fighter has the best record of the superflys ?

Who has the highest KO percentage ?

Who out of all you so called experts picked Kirilov to totally outclass Darchinyan ??

The guy has lost one fight and all of a sudden all you bitches have a comment or two for a guy who is two division world champ !

He has fought the better fighters and wiped the floor with them. He lost against Donaire, Donaire was the better fighter on the night won, but Donaire was petrified because Gary Shaw at at a show at Primm Nevada , stated to reporters first hand, "Donaire got Darchinyan on a good night, Darchinyan was complacent & he was lazy, Donaire knew what was coming when he supposed to fight on the same card as Darchinyan- REMATCH !!

Do you think Mijares is better than Arce ? Or was Arce complacent against Mijares!!!

Mijares drew with Maldonado! Watch the fight - he hasnt improved !

Mijares won SD against Navarro, another southpaw who was tagging him occasionally with his feather fisted hands!

Kirilov played with Navarro for 12 rounds!!!

Darchinyan bashed Maldonado to a pulp !
Darchinyan bashed Kirilov to senseless !

When Darchinyan tags Mijares it wont be a pillow filled glove like Navarro or Maldonado! It will be out and out survival !!!!!!!!!

Mike Tyson said " Everyone has a game plan until they get hit by me"

Guess what !!! Mijares will be KO'D! Style makes fights. It was clearly evident from his last fight that Darchinyan has learnt a valuable lesson from the loss. He aint going to make the same mistake again.

Mijares's last fight would have been better served fighting, the Thai with walking stick he had walking into the arena, sparring a 15 year old kid would have helped him more.

Darchinyan has already stated he will be sparring Jhonny Perez and southpaws in australia and Las Vegas for this upcoming fight.

Im smelling another Margarito V Cotto result

    Darchinyan KO 7:bbb

we had our disagreement but for once we're on the same page. I reckon Mijares is overrated he neva fought a puncher that comes at him with speed. Its gonna spin him out.. Vic is awkward and is bringing it to him.

Buh, we know Mijares is known for he is a tricky sneaky moves that ummm buh he lacks pop. Although Vic was dropped by light hitters Catubay, Gorres and Donaire so man!! Mijares has decent pop. And you know he is gonna paint vic all night long.

I do see Vic speed giving problem and Mijares giving Vic problems. If it goes long. Mijares UD. Vic needs a knock out. And I reckon there's a big chance here...

Im glad Vic went the Mijares route, because its a much more winnable fight for him than Montiel stylistically.
Vic can win this no doubt...i just hope he is at the top of his game.

    Just to retort straighty...

No..Arce relied on cutting massive amounts of weight, and bullying smaller guys with his strength and power. That strategy was always going to run into trouble the higher he went in weight.
Plus Arce is past it..he lost his last fight clearly.
He got so badly dominated in that fight, literally Mijares nearly landed 3 times as many punches on him, that you could not put that down to being "complacent".

But that fight wasnt even close..Navarro goes alright, he had big wraps on him a few years ago and got totally robbed in Japan in his first shot at a title. Things could have been a lot different for him if he had got the nod that night, he may have been in Mijares position, who knows.

    Thats just false.

The way Mijares fights in the pocket and the fact he seems to have a good chin are the reasons why I think he trumps anything Vic has to throw at him.

Styles do make fights..and all your comparisons could be countered with that arguement..Dont forget that.

But gotta say mate..absolutely love your conviction and you are starting to turn my opinion a little. When this fight was first mentioned I thought Mijares domination..when it got announced I thought Vic is in with a big chance but will probably still lose. Now with that impassioned post Im starting to visualise all the things you say could happen and it gets me excited.

I love our Aussie fighters , especially the ones that have the balls to o/s and have a real dig, win or lose , they are in there earning a living for their families and I really admire that.
Hussy, Skinny, Mick Katsidis, Vic , Lovemore Ndou, Jamie Pittman the list is endless, I love it when they have a go and i will support them no matter what.
a lot of people dont realise when Vic lost to Donaire his son was born a week later, the stress of his girl being here alone without Vic would have really strained his focus, I know when my son was born , my wife was two suburbs away from me in Manly and I was peakin!!! He missed his sons first birthday getting ready for Kirilov and dedicated the fight to his son, Have a look at the end result he played with Kirilov and NO ONE thought it would be that easy, if Mijares is hunting for Vic he better be ready because the hunter will become the hunted!

:bbb He's trying to take that title from Vic and his family, and judging by how may travelled from Armenia and Australia, its one big arse family ! I heard that Vic's manager was organising a touring party for the next fight, IM THERE WITH BELLS ON!!!!

Biggest Raging Bull fan in Dee Why Raff !

I spoke to one of Vic's sponsors yesterday, I cant believe how many sponsors Vic has !!
He has to be one of the most sponsored guys in boxing today. Apparently Lonsdale, Altech Computers (6th biggest company in Australia), Boost Mobiles, Aristocrat Poker Machines, Auburn RSL, Central Coast Leagues, GIO Insurance and now Emirates Airlines are going to be sponsoring him.
I think its fantastic that so many big Aussie companies are getting behind the Raging Bull! GO VIC!
