Shouldn't Vic be fighting King Kong next in the 3/4th place box off ?

Looks to me like many are underselling Moreno's masterclass performance. It was a boxing lesson that Pernell would've been proud of.

Moreno outboxed Vic clearly from what i saw...again i have only seen highlights of the fight...as i was too busy watching the Cotto-Margarito II PPV.
Again i will watch Vic's bout in the morning but seemed like he got clearly outboxed to me.

Naive? I know exactly who Anselmo Moreno was before this fight, i have watched him twice, he is a good boxer with little pop in his hands. He has had 4 SD wins since 2009 yet Vic couldn't land a glove on him? Vic was a clumsy, stumbling fool who fought like he just left the pub after about 20 beers! Do you think he will get a rematch against Mares? I doubt he could beat Jorge Arce again. Vic is done! A terrible performance.

what is it with people seemingly that can't wait to put the boot in?

a fighter 30yo or more has one poor fight and people jump on them calling for them to hang the gloves up.

    its nonsense.

I agree and he was good against Perez and the South African guy Mabamba after the Mares SD too. But he really was terrible yesterday.

Vic has had more than one poor fight! He's won some while being poor as well as being clearly outpointed by Agbeko and Mares not to mention being destroyed by Nonito.
His fight against Moreno is one of the worst i have seen by a top ranked fighter against a powder puff puncher who has scraped through 4 split decisions in the past two years! Nobody is putting the boot in, but the fact is Vic doesn't measure up to both Mares and Agbeko so where does he go from here? His team let him down as much as himself.

    Agbeko yes.
But did you watch the Mares fight?

    Clearly outpointed suggests otherwise :patsch

Abner Mares v Joseph Agbeko was a great fight to watch. Particularly after Vic's disappointing fight. Mares is a warrior with the skills to go with it and Agbeko just kept coming.
