I still noticed the dirty little tricks Mares used in the second fight, the punches to the body and back when Agbeko was being held and to be honest the ref was not too much better.

He was giving Mares no warnings but as soon as Agbeko pushed the head down he was warned and threathed with a point deducion? The look on King Kongs face said it all, WTF :huh

Agbeko can't get any favors in the US, the split descision with Vic was a bit of a joke in terms of scoring.

Vic's certainly capable of making a run at another world title but he's going to have to do it the hard way from here. And I'm not sure where the money will be coming from to fund it.

I wouldn't mind seeing Vic reload at 122 and go after the South African IBO & IBF champions respectively.

It's pretty obvious he needs to make some changes to his training regime though. I mean, who was he sparring with in preparation for this fight? Some Filipino club fighter. That's basically what he fought like.

Instead of calling out Billy Dib for a fight, he ought to begin sparring with him to get his handspeed back. He could have used Paul Flemming as a sparring partner for the Moreno fight as well. A young fast guy on the way up.

It's back to basics for Vic if he wants to continue his boxing career. I just hope someone is willing to fund a couple of meaningful fights for him because he's not going to be able to rely on the Showtime dollars from now on.

what makes you think that the yanks have decided vic isnt an exciting style fighter? we know the yanks love a walk up, slugger, either kill or get killed fighter. thats what vic is. it was just a poor match for vic.

the yanks will have him again, but next time they will put someone in with him that will stand in front and bang with him.....just you watch.:deal

Because Showtime are only interested in televising world class fighters and Vic's performance against Moreno wasn't world class.

If Vic is to make another appearance on Showtime he's going to have to earn it.

How does he earn it? By claiming a major belt at 122.

That will take money. I'm not saying the money won't come from somewhere but only a fool would suggest Showtime will tip money into Vic without him demonstrating that he's still capable of bringing it.

Vic's next fight will not be on Showtime and you don't need to be a genius to work that out.

Yeah. Bit hard to execute any game plan when your handspeed is so far off the pace.

He needs to do some decent sparring with the likes of Billy Dib & Paul Flemming and then let's see what he's got.

Should go after the IBF 122 lb title. The South African went to Mexico for a title defence so he shouldn't have a problem coming here.

If he's looking for a tune up fight, how about the Indonesian who went the distance with Arce recently? Or the South African IBO 122lb champ.

I'd like to see him back in the ring soon to finish off his career properly.
