I do agree with Vic in one of the video's you posted however, I'd love to see him in with Montiel.

Mexican walk-in's are tailor-made for Vic and it would be a great fight. Boxers/Counterpunchers like Donaire spell disaster.

 

He's a favourite of mine as well and he'll be a force in the division. I just don't see the fight as the decider of Bantamweight supremacy. That will come when the winner of Agbeko v Mares fights the winner of this bout.

 

That's cool, we agree to disagree. Donaire beats Montiel but Montiel takes any of the four in the other tournament I have no doubt.

 

All good. At this point in time Agbeko has every right to consider himself among the premier Bantams in the world. For mine he'll probably beat Mares, but you never know. If he does I hope he gets matched with the winner.

 

I think Montiel will beat Donaire & would also beat Agbeko, who I think will beat Mares. At least we are seeing the best fighters of the division facing one another. Something ol Floyd & Pac should take a look at.

 

I somewhat lean to Agbeko beating Mares also but it should be highly competitive & an interesting styles clash.
Still i feel the winner of Montiel/Donaire is the top Bantamweight clearly...but Agbeko/Mares winner is a very worthy challenger of course.

 

I was just on Ring Magazine.com and looking at their Bantamweight story and there's a poll there for who the fans vote as the top Bantamweight. After I voted, I've posted the results below. Not hard to tell who the fans think the standout is.
