    Darchinyan vs. Catubay Wednesday Press Conference

    Two-time flyweight world champion Vic “Raging Bull” Darchinyan faces Federico Catubay for the vacant IBO super flyweight boxing world title on Saturday night 20th October 2007 at the Auburn RSL in Sydney, Australia.

    Vic Darchinyan will hold an open training session at 11:30am and then a press conference at 12:00pm with Federico Catubay present this coming Wednesday 17th October 2007 at his “Raging Bull” Gymnasium in Marrickville.

    31 year-old Vic Darchinyan, the Armenian born 2000 Olympian and Australian citizen trained by Billy Hussein, has a professional boxing record of 28 wins, 1 loss and 22 wins by knockout. He has previously held the IBF and IBO flyweight world titles.

    27 year-old Federico Catubay from Cebu City in The Philippines, has a record of 20 wins, 13 losses, 3 draws and 11 wins by knockout.

    So he's gonna fight another Filippino. This one looks a lot easier though, he's records not crash hot.
