Uhhh maybe because Koki Kameda is a huge star over in Japan.

The guy brings in over 50% ratings over there.

Darchinyan is probably unknown for the Japanese audience. I don't know how big Hasegawa is, but he's a damn good fighter. I wouldn't mind getting this fight, and Hozumi might have Vic's number, he has a pretty good left hand. But I also think that Darchinyan is now big enough in the States and on Showtime for other fighters to come to him.

nah i'd say alot of people over there might know who he is, since he beat Mijares, and Mijares fought over there a couple of times against one of there fighters, so i'd say this could probably be a pretty big fight

but like i've said b4 i cant see Vic beating Hasegawa, and especially not in his back yard

Very interesting fight, but, would Hasegawa accept the challenge? That is the question.

It would never happen. Japanese boxing promoters learned a long time ago that a big fight where you actually have to pay the opponent good money doesn't make more money than a champ defending against a scrub over there, unless both fighters are Japanese.

Agbeko will probably be the man..He makes more sense than Hase.

I think Hozumi could probably beat Vic.

There is a poster on here called "pecks" who lives in japan. Im pretty sure he said boxing does not get much coverage from what he has seen.
Komeda might be the biggest boxing star over there but I dont think he is the biggest overall star by the sounds of it.
