Just had a look at this on the U.S Showtime site. If you click on "Video & Photo's" in the top right corner , then on "promo" you can view the add they are using in America. Pretty cool to see Vic back on the tele. Hope he can win this fight! Hope the Raging Bull can win this World Title and that it puts him back on the map. I thinks its pretty impressive that he will be the Main Event in the U.S. tThe Junior Bantam division is heating up - Mijares / Arce / :bbb Montiel / Kirilov / Darchinyan /Donaire. Sure makes great matchups ! Does anyone know if it will be shown here in Australia ? This content is protected
Well Darchinyan did go back to Armenia for training, sounds like hes gone back to his roots & been working on footwork & not power, it will be intresting to see how he goes, it would be good to see a Darchinyan v donaire 2.
Vic's been koed & dropped in his last 2 fights. He better have made adjustments like keeping his hands up. I'd luv to see him win & rematch donaire, who is a very good fighter, take nothing away from him.
Been dropped in his last two fights???????????? If you call a left rip into his never regions followed by a right hook being dropped , well maybe your right.?? Vic Darchinyan is the best boxer we have at the moment, his record speaks for itself . I think we can forgive his one loss in thrity odd bouts. Its the way he comes back that is going to count. I read that he has got his old amateur coach back in his corner. i wonder if it will help him. His amateur record was pretty impressive.
Well he didn't get up in one of them so yeah I count that one has ktfo! Then he got dropped in his last fight that they ruled a draw. So I stand by what I said. Is in the pro's now thats all that counts.
Kirilov is a champion. Do not understimate a champion. So, dunno which way to go. This is the first time Vic's faced a solid fighter in 3 years. he is having problems as a result...
wasnt gorres a solid fighter, just lacking a bit of power? i read an article that vics ameteur coach has been working on his footwork a lot & got his head using more than his big left only, i hope he has changed something & would love to see him win a rematch with donaire,
Vic needs to jab. And not load one punches at a time. Nonito saw those punches. He needs a jab. And Nonito keeped going left which keeped turning Vic around and around. Z is ****.Do give him props for going 12 rounds with Montiel and Vic. He has an impressive amatuer record in Armenia, but it doesn't show in his skills. I don't get it. He is nothing compared vines Martosayan or Arthur Abraham :yep
This is a good fight for VIC....he can use his power and mix it without much fear of being KTFO. Also the fight is on netural ground so I think VIC has a great chance here.
Watch this space - Vic Darchinyan will KO Kirilov within 6 rounds . Time will tell, lets wait until then. GO THE RAGING BULL !
I love you guys, the way you write someone off after one loss. Let me guess when Vic wins his 4th world title he will be one of your favourite boxers again. We are all experts behind a computer screen. Watch this space - Vic Darchinyan will KO Kirilov within 6 rounds . Time will tell, lets wait until then. GO THE RAGING BULL !
Oh Kay! I'll go Vic who was lucky to beat pacheco, do you remember? if it was not for the fireworks he was on his way to losing and he defended against nobodies. And then decides to move up a notch in level of comp. And has some problems. I would say this Montiel destroys Vic in 3, you can take that to the bank. Vic only fights nobodies for 3 years.. :hey
Your a hard task master. Ring magazine rated Vic - No 7 in biggest punchers P4P. One punch can change a fight, Vic is very capable of landing that punch that can turn the tide in a fight. I agree with you he has some weaknesses , but all boxers have strengths and weaknesses, I think he is capable of KO'ing anyone in this division. I dont agree with Montiel KO'ing Vic in 3. Z Gorres gave Montiel a good fight and Montiel has a terrible time against southpaws.
