Roy Jones did not want to fight him. I think we know why now.

 

Roy had no need to fear him. He just wouldn't go to Germany. Dariusz was tough, but look at the Hall fights for example? Those struggles were after Roy had given him a merciless hiding. Roy was clearly on another level.

 

That stoppage vs Hall was BS....a German gift. Even the supporting crowd as was whistling....called Booing in the US.

Why didn't it help Hall? According to reports, Hall had twice as much as what Roy had. Yet he was smashed all over the ring, before going on to cause Dariusz lots of problems in two fights.

So what does that say?

Only have vague memories of his fights, need to catch up a little.

 

Skill set + PED abuse would render you a much superior fighter. If your skill set is lacking, no amount of PED's will help you defeat a more proficient fighter.

 

There are some similarities in style and his appearance with Kostya Tszyu.

Fun fighter to watch and I wouldn't want to run into him today and not know who he is.

Hall simply didn't have anything at all that troubled Roy. Yet he gave Dariusz two tough fights.

That speaks volumes.

 

You cannot use that argument, how fighter A fights an opponent, will be allot different than how fighter B fights the same opponent, the results could be different as well. Does not prove anything.

 

To say that Roy Toyed with Hall would be a huge understatement.

Yeah, I appreciate that styles make fights, but still, in my opinion Roy was on another level. He also beat Hill and Griffin easier and he beat Gonzalez. Although Dariusz was faded when he fought Gonzalez.

I just don't buy into the theories that Roy feared Dariusz and he was only successful due to PEDS.

 

He caused him a fair amount of trouble. But of course he was just a bum when Roy fought him.
