Damn, watching those clips really makes me a little bitter that we never saw him fight Roy. Would've been a great fight.

Michaczewski in a close but clear UD.

Joe wont lie down but Dariusz has agood boxing brain himself, an excellent jab, better punch power and he is naturally bigger.

Calzaghe has never been troubled by a jab in his entire pro career! What makes you think DM would have any sucess at all with his?:patsch

Often DM was overlooked by people because he was around in RJJ's era. He was some fighter.

But so is Joe. I think he has a tough time but ultimately racks up the points with his speed. Pretty clear but hard fought decision for JC.

I don't think it would be comfortable but I do think joe would win by UD after getting of the floor. However if the fight was held in germany I think he gets DQ'd for fighting back.;)

I don't think the fight would be comfortable, but an unbiased scorecard would be comfortable.

that and no one seems to understand that in ALL of his recent fights, he's taken his opponents best punch away. Lacy, left hook was maybe landed a couple of times through the fight. Kessler's jab and straight right totally neutralised, even the uppercut and left hook that were finding their target were figured out and taken away. Hopkins, the right hand lead landed frequently in the first couple of rounds was eventually reduced to a couple a round if that.

He'd be aware of the left, and unless he's a HUGE hitter and can catch Joe a bit cold at the start of the fight and keep him down, then I dont really see him winning.

Yes If MD stopped JC It would happen early.Fighters get KO'd late because they get tired but JC doesn't get tired, even at 36.

Joe rated Roy Jones far higher than Dariusz Michalczewski when I talked to him around 10 years ago. But I got the feeling that Joe would never want anything to do with DM.

Joe and Joe....no question. DM is a good fighter and good champ...Joe is a great fighter and inching his way up to be a GREAT Champ. DM is over and he never took the steps to prove himself like Joe is finally doing now.

Yeah I'd go along with this. Joe's speed and adaptability help him grind out a hard fought 12 round unanimous decision. He'd need 12 rounds though and would face a few problems along with way with 'The Tiger'.
