Dariusz Michalczewski vs. Tomasz Adamek

great match up of the two polish dudes,,,

really liked both of them, I would maybe pick Tomasz, however, I would bet it would most of all be a great long battle where both dudes had their moments.

 

Personally I've always felt Tomasz was prime at cruiser. Anyway I'd take Tomasz.

 

Two Polish warriors that I liked a lot. I'm not really sure if Tomasz would have beaten Dariusz though,...got to ponder this one.

 

Adamek is overrated as Hell at 175. He went life and death twice with a plodding scrub in Paul Briggs. Lost the rematch to Briggs IMO.

DM was a cut above and would win pretty easily.

 

I would go with DM by decision.

 

Good exciting fight but I sure don't see that Adamek defense coping with that jab. Or the extremely accurate follow up shots Dariusz threw. He'd get badly outlanded and lose the rounds & that only leaves him the possibility of a ko stoppage. And I don't see that & DM knew how to fight busted up so that does not help his cause either.

I think it goes like the Barber fight with one way action with one guy pitching and one guy doing the catching. And taking a licking round after round while hanging tough.

 

I choose Tomasz but by a hair, great match up imo.

 

DM by stoppage. I really like Adamek, but he is very hittable.
DM has the power to knock everyone out.

 

Adamek would outwork him and win a 12 round hardfought decision.

 

And I'd like to point out that Paul Briggs was five levels below DM.

Adamek is extremely overrated. We're talking about a guy who got comprehensively schooled by Chad Dawson.

People act like Adamek was some quality technician, but really he was just a tough fight with a s****py style.

DM was a much better offensive technician, and would outclass Adamek the same way he outclassed Hill.
