I don't believe this to be true. I do think Sammy took Collazo lightly and obviously his stand in Diaz and should rededicate himself to the sport. I think Errol is too much for both of them at this point though.

Edit: I think he picked Collazo as a small step up and was looking to show off. Diaz stepped in and it is apparent he did not know who he was and was expending alot of energy earlier. It came to back to bite him. He still needs alot of work.

Oh I'm so devastated by the news that you think I'm a degenerate and a weirdo, how will I ever go on?

I don't care what family or friends think about me or anything that I do, never have, never will, and I like most of them, I doubt there will ever be a day in my life that I give any f***s about what some nobody on the internet, who doesn't know me personally, who flies into a hyperventilating girlish snit because I scored a match in a way that they didn't approve, thinks about me.

If I cared what people thought I wouldn't post anything about myself.

I'm glad it meant so much to you and that you had such fun tonight though, a guy who doesn't take any stances on any fighters, who never lets his opinions be known on any up and coming talents, (probably because you barely know any) therefore never having the chance for it to blow up in their face, took great joy in a fighter I like doing poorly.

    What a douchebag you are.

And for the record Diaz has been competing at Welter and Light Welter his entire career, and has wins over Bracero and Granados, the guy that stopped Imam, and has a 9-3 win over Lamont Peterson that he didn't get credit for, he did far better than Garcia even, so maybe its you who DKSAB.:deal

I'm convinced something was wrong with Sammy mentally, he had the drawn out look of a man who's accidentally ran over his dog.

Expected more from the fight, and both fighters. Diaz had his moments but that was some slovenly, sloppy ****.

Vasquez just needs to work on his inside game. His punches are too straight to fight like that on the inside. Needs to learn how to throw uppercuts. He relies to much on his stepback game.

Thought so too. don't think Sammy expected Diaz to be that level of a fighter.

+ the Martinez fight, think Sammy regressed a bit from that one.

:good Also Sammy hasn't faced many southpaws, and it was probably a shock to his system being put in with one of Diaz's level, he was preparing for a guy like Collazo, who while a southpaw, is past his prime, and wouldn't have brought the tank like build, pressure and physicality to that Diaz brought to the table. I'll chalk it up to being ill prepared, but if anything last night proved Sammy has an amazing chin.

Or as I was saying before the Peterson match Diaz is special and would beat him, Diaz isn't an opponent one should take on short notice. And still Sammy did well in the first 3 and last 2 rounds.

Granados lost a close match to Diaz and bounced back by stopping Imam, try not writing Sammy off yet.
