Good for him, then. There's a reason nobody fights like Ali anymore, it gets you killed against modern fighters
From what I have seen, he has good offensive skills. Needs to develop good defense, and get into better shape.
Comparing him to Ali is just setting himself up for failure. He doesn't look too bad fighting the level of opposition he has faced so far. He clearly has some skills but he'll be lucky if he becomes the next Byrd or even Chambers let alone Ali. He also needs to sort out his conditioning. He could easily lose 20lbs, that excess weight will cost him when he steps up.
Only seen a little of him and there's some potential there. He really needs to get into better condition though. It's nice to see a 20 year old American heavyweight prospect for a change instead of a nearly 30 year old one like we've been getting lately.
his promoters, trainers, management etc are not moving him along quick enough, this man should be in AJ's position right now
It gets you killed if you aren't supernaturally fast. You can afford to do those kinds of things with that combination of chin/speed and cardio. A few have checked 2 out of 3 of those boxes. Nobody since has checked them all.
He's "stepping up" at least. First opponent with a winning record (only just) that he faces, and the guy made it into the 3rd against Teslenko in his previous bout.
