    "I floored Kovalev 4 times. They took it from me."

    Lol why do people make such a big deal over the Boone fight for Ward?

    Guy only had 7 fights as a pro lol.

    23-23 and done well against Ward/Kovalev/Stevenson lol.. albeit in theory records don't matter since you can change your ways for one fight or infinitely..

    Never heard of him flooring Kovalev 4 times. Surely this would have been mentioned at least on a TV screen.

    He said he knocked him down four times but only one knockdown was counted. It wasn't on tv. It was in a boxing club.

    How convenient it wasn't it on TV and no footage exists, he can say that Godzilla showed up and burned the place to the ground too and no one an dispute it. I've read an account from an eyewitness who said Kovalev was dropped and hurt once, it was on another Boxing site, and this was when Kovalev was a nobody so I doubt they'd have reason to make up a BS story.

    There was no reason to protect some Russian guy who had an average amateur career who no one expected much from fighting in in Boone's hometown, he only fight he ever lost on points in his own hometown. Boone is a b**** and clearly on that sleazeball Abel Sanchez's payroll at this point.

    According to Kovalev he was sick beforehand I believe it was a stomach flu and wasn't adequately physically or mentally prepared for the fight beforehand, since it was his first real step up.
