A few months ago there was some hype about Darnell on this forum fighting some BG flores or soming. I'm from the UK so i never seen Darnell fight but some posters were talking like they wanted to give him a handjob or soming. When i heard he was gona be on ther contender I thought lets see wat this guy is made off. he's deffentaly a real contender and so I saw him fight yesterday. ****, he got outclassed and whooped by a part time boxer who is a jewlery shop owner, knocked down twice and taken to skool. missing with big hayemakers and made his opponent luk like royjones beaten by a jewleryshop owner made to look like an ameture lost every round outbrawled and beaten in his own game maybe the jewlery shop owner is a diamond in the dirt, the new roy jones????:huh:huh:huh btw jewleryshop owner i think his name is eko hasnt got a very good record, he's has like 13 fights and 7 win via KO with 3 losses
No,actually I think Hino is a fitnes strainer in Queens not a jewelry shop owner.Or both? Anyway yes Wilson has been overrated here.
The fact that he posts here gives people a real tie to a boxer, making them like him more. I feel bad for him because he's lost recently, but he seems to be a really nice guy.
hino. thankx yea that guy looked awsome. This thread is to show how the hype on this forum works. wen i hadn't seen darnell before and judged a him purely based on hype, my measure of his ability was way off the chart.
I think he is a great guy and fighter but I'm purely attacking the necessary hype which surrounds fighters
Very surprised by the defeat...Hino best name on his resumee was Hide and he was totally dominated by Hide...atsch:huh
This is why people like Darnell Wilson. [YT]OS77moBJnTM[/YT] [YT]B2HBa9JVHB8[/YT] [YT]Kx6rfkB5MOY[/YT] He's exciting, brings great action to fights, and puts mother****ers to sleep. At one time he was rated pretty high for at least one of the belt organizations. Lost the last couple fights, but I'll still cheer him on. Exciting fighters with big power like Darnell are always a treat to watch, win or lose.
lol found me on youtube. Yea i just started uploadin it, it should be done in like 2 houuuurrrsss lol, n sori i ruined the fight for u lol
Truth be told, I did not get a chance to see much of Wilson until he fought B.J. Flores. I had only gotten to see the highlights of his KO's against Davis and Nwodo because I used to work when FNF's were on, leaving me without much of an opinion about him. He had frequented ESB for a while and I thought that was pretty cool. He's a likeable guy and it was interesting to read his posts because he was on the inside. I was looking forward to seeing him fight Flores so I could see if he really had the goods. I was shocked to see that he looked very amateurish at times and really had very little to offer other than power. Anyway, I don't want to get into this whole Ding bashing thing because there's no reason to go down that road. I can understand how Ding got people excited on the board. He was a real-life representative of the sport that we talk about every day. An active fighter who was very much in the thick of things at one point. You can't fault a guy for being a flawed fighter. People are what they are. He goes out and gives what he has.
Who the **** do you think you are to say something like that? The guy is a pro fighter, who was world ranked at one time. Maybe he won't ever be a champ, but that doesn't mean he can't enjoy the game, and it doesn't mean people can't support him either. No one hyped him, people just supported him because they knew him from the boards, and he was a genuine good guy. Plus he is an exciting fighter generally. Some of you keyboard warriors need to shut your mouths.
thats a bit harsh, darnell is very good his record speaks for itself and his highlight speak even more. buh he didnt perform for some reason
That's great and all that you could program computers and you are very lucky to have the oppurtunity to have a good job. Ding probably needed boxing to make money even though it is the toughest way to make a living than just sitting behind a computer.
