    FFS man.

Brophy's mum could've probably knocked Szekeres down by now.

I love how every time Brophy puts on his "serious" face and lands more than one punch in a row, the commentators get so randy for it, on the edge of their seats, voices growing throaty as they call the action "here it comes, he's going down!!!" only to have to smooth down their ruffled feathers moments later and hem & haw to make excuses (and then claim that Brophy earned a 10-7 - yes 10-7!!! - round anyway despite not managing to drop a walking punching bag)

    40-36.

Except for Ormond vs. Ashie this card has been dreadful.

TKO5. What a chore that was, for Brophy and us.

    Jenkins currently a 2.81 underdog on 1XBet.

Draw is paying 26/1, which is good value.

This'll be a little more competitive than would have been Foley vs. the originally scheduled opponent, Willie Limond.

Willie is way too far gone to have successfully come off a 2 year layoff and hung in there with a young hungry guy...even one that he would have wiped the floor with in his prime.

    Round 1

Jenkins is stalking, left palm held out to snatch Foley's southpaw jabs in midair. Foley checking distance with a backhanded double right jab bouncing into Jenkins's left glove, then burying a left hand on the body, albeit while circling outward, so not much on it. Jenkins is pushing in with the left arm held out straight, brushing down some Foley jabs and then catching a left hand on his right glove parked up by his chin. Jenkins so far not unloading much, just stalking, blocking, and being very picky as he seeks out spots to counter. Foley jumps in and twats him with a right hook, more of a rabbit punch across the nape as Jenkins ducks. They clash a few more times in awkward clinches, both getting licks in en route. Left hook for Jenkins.

10-9 Foley, close, just on activity

    Round 2

Jenkins is still kissing Foley's right jabs up top, neutralizing them with his left. Jenkins looking to set up a right cross but not pulling trigger just yet. Couple of left hooks from Jenkins, landing nicely. Here comes the right after the hooks pave the way. Foley now circling out wide. Foley reaching across the chasm with right jab/hook hybrids, trying to pierce Jenkins' ear. Jenkins has no interest in joining the pirate club, however, as he raises his left arm over the side of his face as he keeps pressing in, remaining squared up, depositing sharp right hand leads straight into the belly of Foley. 1-2 by Foley while sliding his feet back, easily picked off. Another right plugged into the gut by Jenkins from outside, very accurate - but also selective to a fault and throwing a tenth as many shots as Foley (who isn't even a blur of activity himself)

    10-9 Jenkins

    19-19

Was a head clash near the end of the second, Jenkins now cut on the outside of the right eye.

    Round 3

Foley is circling along the ropes, whizzing by Jenkins and tossing straight flurries into the guard, catching Jenkins at the very tip of his left hand sometimes but mostly falling short with it and just embedding jabs into the guard. His best successes come with the right hook brushing the neck. Jenkins is circling, patiently, still watching like a hawk for counters, but not throwing quite enough to match Foley on connects. When he does fire, Jenkins is catching Foley with left hooks & right hands but that is once in a blue moon.

    10-9 Foley

    29-28 Foley

Jenkins is determined unable to continue on account of the cut. For some reason the ref has apparently failed to deem it from a butt, which it obviously was. Foley celebrating like a knob.

    TKO3!!

    Total BS.

Wait, so it was ruled a NC instead? Okay, phew.

I thought he always ruled it a headbutt. I thought the question was over whether it was an official stoppage or whether it was if the corner pulling him out due to the cut, which would’ve then been a Foley win under pretty bull**** circumstances lol

"It would've been tasty. He did some homework on me, knew what he was about in there..."

Good sportsmanship and camaraderie here between Foley & Jenkins sitting on the ring apron giving their postmortem interview.

Jenkins profusely apologizing for having paper skin.

Politest couple of boxers I've ever seen.

You're right, yeah, that was the confusion, it seemed Jenkins' corner did want to yank him out, which if they made the decision of their own accord would risk opening him up to it going in the books as being a TKO loss...but I'm pretty sure the final ruling was NC, as the ref was pretty much on the same page with them and beat his corner to it, by like a nanosecond.
