Big fan of Darren,on his showing against Martinez I think he's definately world class and could have the beating of Chavez if he stays on the outside and boxes a smart fight.Chavez has a head like a rock and mongo strength to boot so going toe to toe would be a huge mistake also fighting in Mexico might not be the best idea.Vegas is the only place Darren will get a fair shout on the cards and that's being generous as even there Chavez will be the home fighter.

I think Barker could seriously win this if it were to happen, I don't personally think Chavez Jr is all that, he just uses his size (and possibly PEDs). Apart from the last round he was completely schooled and made to look **** by Martinez. Barker however gave Martinez a good fight and caused him so problems with his slick ability.

Chavez Jr was completely outboxed by Andy Lee too, if the ring hadn't been the size of a kid's paddling pool then I seriously doubt he would have been able to catch up to Lee and stop him.

If Barker gets a decent sized ring which allows him to move about and is on his A game on the night I'd seriously back him to win.

problem is jr comes in as a cruiserweight. he has an unfair weight advantage, I think barker could do it, jr can't keep on cutting weight like he does. its going to catch up with him,
