Barker lost the last six rounds at best (out muscled), he wont make big time he looked too frail and weak at that level. errol chin
That was an awful set of scorecards. I had Frenchie winning close. I could see a 115-113 decision for Barker, but anything wider than that is absurd. There's no way Barker won rounds 7 - 11, unless someone was just listening to the crowd and not actually watching the fight.
There were some rounds drawn there. I had barker just nicking it. French guy won most of the championship rounds.
I had barker winning by a round, french guy never stopped going forward, didnt give Barker a seconds rest, barker is certainly not world class..
I think it could of gone either way to be honest god alone knows where one of the judges found Barker winning by 8 points . Barker didnt look anything like world class on that showing although he probably learned more in that fight than in every other fight he's had so far so hopefully he can use the experience as a platform to improve. In fairness i think the frenchman might well be a very very tough man who'd give a lot of fighters at that sort of level a very tough night
Barker-French 1. 10-9 2. 10-9 3. 10-9 4. 10-9 5. 9-10 6. 10-9 7. 9-10 8. 9-10 9. 10-10 10. 10-10 11. 9-10 12. 10-9 116-114 Could had it from 1-4 point fight for Barker, the French guy did not win, no chance.
I don't think he had the tools to fight any other way. The thread starter is correct, he doesn't look powerful enough at the weight.
