Looks to me like the guy basically quit off a partially blocked punch and put on a bit of a drama performance on the canvas to try and sell the knockout. If anything he has a glass heart.

 

He got it behind the ear. That messes up your equilibrium

Barker tends to have poor stamina in later rounds. It was more fatigue that caused him to go down.

You've no idea what it's like in a boxing ring, and you've no idea what Darren Barker did to get there, and he did very well against Sergio Martinez. He was taking some big shots from Martinez which obviously were getting through and you question the punch taking out Barker when Martinez has the power to blast Williams into oblivion. It's just not good enough for you people, is it? Sergio Martinez is either overrated and you've always thought that or Darren Barker has a glass chin and a glass heart and he didn't come to fight.

He was holding his glove against his face, so yeah he blocked it with his glove that was pressed against his head. He took almost full impact to his temple. Give Sergio and Barker respect.

 

Is this serious. The last two rounds he was taking a lot of punishment the right hook before he went down did the damage that one to the ear just sent him down. Barker showed a lot of heart taking the fight where he should of been out classed easily and made it competitive. Good fight from Darren but he was in against a much better fighter tonight.
