Yes it does, but the punch wasn't hard and didn't hit him square. It bounced off the gloves and had little power by the time it connected on Barker. Don't let his little acting job fool you, I've seen this before. The man gave up.

He's a mini Clottey but without the chin. Serves him right he went down n stayed down... i'm happy 4 sergio... when he wants 2 he adds the pressure. Darren was pushing Sergio down quite alot and also made him trip. What proffesionalism is this? Darren just couldn't get the job done he didnt come back with anything... he was like squirtle turtle from pokemon hiding in his defensive shell whilst Sergio was accumulating the jabs and combinations. I hope Sergio gets a big fight... plus he's nice aswell... he helped tht girl who was getting bullied at skwl.... congrats to Team Martinez from the UK :good

Take a beating and fall down :good

See how willing you are to want to get up when the guy is standing over you.

Barker was done mentally and physically. Not a quit job or glass anything Barker left what he had in the ring.

Yes. So much for the "undefeated European Champion".

well what does that say about his heart? most of us at the RBR had the fight close, granted i have no clue what the judges had but that fight was close. and still to go down on a right hand that doesn't land is a joke.

... Jesus Christ. You're arseholes. Barker went in there as a huge underdog, was supposed to be knocked out before 6 rounds. He lasts 11 rounds, and gave a good account of himself, and you criticise him.

Judges had it 96-94 97-93 twice. Barker knew he was behind he opened up more in the last two rounds and got punished for it. As I said the fact he went down and didn't get up was more to do with him getting hit with a lot of shots rather than that one right hand which did land on the side of the head. If you knew Barker limitations before the fight you would know he worked as hard as ever had to and it wasn't good enough. He was beaten bad even if you think it was close.

I'm not even a Barker fan I expected him to get blew out in the first 4 rounds if he wanted to go down easy he could have earlier.

Aw. He basically fought the whole fight to survive.

Expected more from a so called champion.

 I saw you posting in the British RBR about the insanity of the General Forum but I didn't think you'd actually take it on. You challenge it and you open the trap door on insanity. These guys don't have a clue about boxing but conspiracy and insanity they can ****** with the best of them.

I want a lot of people on this thread to die before procreating. I hesitate to say what I want if they've already had children. It's mean.

... yeah he was running all round the ring to avoid Martinez, wasn't he?

He came to win, he was coming forward, he wasn't good enough, why can't people just leave it at that?

Eh, I wouldn't give him the lead at any point past the sixth, but he kept it close until he started breaking down and lost his discipline.

He has a glass chin because he went down from a shot that hit him on the ear? Do you no what a chin is?
