I've just finished part 2 of Darren Barker's interview for Jo.co.uk's TKO boxing podcast. I have to say what an excellent interview, a really good in-depth conversation about the highs and lows of his career. From his amateur days, to winning a world title, he talks about the loss of his brother and the effect it had on him and how he managed to get back on track after such a huge loss. Barker's gone up in my books, very humble guy. The interviewer does a great job too.

If you get the chance check it out, just reminds you of what some of these fighters go through to get to the top.

I met Darren the day after he lost to Sergio Martinez, really nice guy and had time to chat considering the circumstances

Fair play, I'd imagine he's quite approachable

Yeah I've always liked Darren Barker. Seems humble and down to earth.
