Darren Barker SD!!!!!!!

Great fight, don't think I have ever been so emotional wanting someone to win, well done Darren. People say GGG would hammer him, maybe he would edge Darren and I say edge as Darren would box against GGG, does anyone really think he would have had same game plan for GGG as he did for Geale?, no chance. What Darren showed tonight is he is a world class boxer and a very good brawler, hugely underrated, want him to fight Sturm, then Murray then if he wins then a big payday fighting GGG.

 

I've always been a fan and glad he's a champion. He showed not only that he can punch, but balls of steel. Even tho I think Geale, who showed tremendous stamina and will, did enough to beat Barker, Barker fought like a true champion. Barker was laying some serious leather that could catch any 160lber by surprise. If not for Geale's unreal stamina and conditioning Barker might of ended this early. Both were champions tonight all I can say. Geale can become champ again, has great condition and unorthodox style plus not afraid to engage anyone despite being outgunned. He can sneak in a powerpunch here and there, just like that beauty of a liver punch. Salute to both they are champs!

 

Have to agree, excellent fight by both guys, and Geale's got no reason not fight GGG now (he's said recently he fancies the fight) - perhaps a warm up fight first
