I think this is a real possibility especially on a Khan undercard since Roach is training McEwan. Who could you see winning this?

I'd love to see this happen, hard fight to call but I'd go with McEwan on points.

There's no way this fight could happen on a Khan undercard. Hennessy's stable isn't deep enough for him to allow one of his few belt holders to fight on a Warren promotion. However, if the fight were to happen i'd go with Barker by a wide ud.

It be highly intriguing fight...i prefer Barker...a lot more refined and consistent in technique, Mcewan can be great one moment then be swinging for the fences the next.

I hear what your saying but what if it wasn't a Khan undercard then. perhaps a Haye or Froch fight?

Barker is the more impressive fighter. A lot faster and better fundamentals.

I'm a little surprised to see everyone who thinks Barker would win says it would be by stoppage. On the other hand those who favour McEwan say it would be by decision!
Their both scheduled to fight soon but I guess we can guage a certain amount from Barker depending how quickly (assuming) he takes care of Elkock. Macklin did it in 3 do you think Elkock will be anyway up for this!

in all fairness barker and mckewan arnt up to much either mate

barker has fought nothing but glass jawed bums and mckewan has struggled with journeymen winning by split decesions
