    Sharp is probably the perfect word to describe barker. Very classy fighter.

    I should of known everybody would of voted for the boxer from their country and not on merit... quite understandable really. sipos,gibbs, belghecham are all better than anyone barker has faced yet barker beats andy lee comfortably interesting........

    Not just about who the fighters have faced. It's about watching how they fight. Having seen both I feel Barker would win. Couldn't give a monkeys where they are from. I was at prizefighter cheering on Rees while everone around me was cheering on the london boys. And I'm from London.

    I follow the boxers who I like how they fight. They could be from Kathmandu for all I care!

    Lee is about as good as your grammar.

    Barker beats him. He almost got knocked out by a guy with 4 KOs on his record.

    Macklin, Barker, Miranda, Pavlik, Sturm, Gevor, Pirog all beat Lee.

    No offence to barker but lets see him defeat someone in the top 50 before we say he is better than anyone......When he steps up against someone in even the top 30 he will get hit by someone who can throw a punch and then you can judge him a lot better dfence wise and chin wise...

    Fair enough:good But Barker has shown nothing to say he cant handle the step up. He looks a class act to me.

    As far as I know it's a boxing forum, although you have the tendancy to turn it into a debating forum about Irish citizenship.

    I agree but comments are being made questioning andy lee because an eu champ who was ranked ahead of him before the fight gave him a scare in the last round and a half. As you said yourself everyone gets caught but i do believe andy's arse is yet to feel the canvas :deal

    I haven't said anything about Lee aside from feeling Barker beats him. He's perfectly decent.

    Total mismatch. Barker is a class boxer with decent power. Lee is a face first hype job.
