They share common victory in Jason Mckay, both fighters forcing Mckay to retire after 6. It would be a good tear up and both fighters need to up their level of opposition.
I don't get this idea that Lee is hyped up etc. Who exactly hypes him because last i checked nobody rates him except the Irish, and we are hardly a voice heard loudly enough to hype a boxer internationally, since he was stopped dubiously against Vera.
lee has the power to hurt barker while barker has shown good skills so far , who has he beat , lets be honest barker is the biggest british hype job on these boards he hasnt fought anyone decent as of yet and we simply dont no how good he will be
We know he isn't proven yet. But having seen both fight I think that Barker has the tools to win. I'm not saying it's 100% cast Iron. It's just my opinion.
it would be good fight, neither have the power to turn a key in a hall door but would be entertaining all the same. I think Dunne would beat him on points. i'll be meeting you on Betfair when this fight gets anounced
I'm not convinced about Darren Barker, he just seems a bit fragile...decent skills but I always think that he looks like he could be pushed around.
Other than being dropped by McIntosh (can't comment as I didn't see it) I suppose that the only person to take rounds off of him was the Canadian he fought (can't remember his name)...other than him his opposition hasn't been all that to be honest. Lee would easily be Barkers biggest test to dat.
