Barker was lucky to get the win in the last fight. I dont know how the bloke he boxed got a European title shot after he got beaten by Lee. I cant beleive it wasnt Lee V Barker. Lee is now left in limbo if he wins his fight on Saturday night who does he fight next. Try and find a top 10 fighter to fight to push him up the rankings because he doesnt seem to have a high ranking in Europe yet.

 

No lee is just inside the top 10 in europe but he is number 2 in NABO rankings which is held by danny jacobs at the moment. Now a win against danny would give lee a ranking with every sanctioning body in world and would get lee on american tv, maybe thats a better route for lee.........

 

No way would they put Lee and Jacobs against each other at this stage

 

Just as much chance as lee vs barker in my eyes. Lee will have to make himself mandatory if he wants barker and the EBU strap. You never know jacobs might vacate the NABO strap and lee will be in line next and if he wins it he puts himself in the top 5 in the WBO rankings.

 

Recently someone made a thread about Jacobs next opponent being a bum, and someone who had ties with him said they tried to make a big fight with many big names Andy Lee being one.

 

Heres the thing now with Dunne no longer fighting anymore is Lee now Full Time with Peters or still half and half with the USA. The reason I ask because out of all of Peters remaining fighters Lee would be the only 1 who could sell big tickets in Ireland well South of Ireland at the moment. The Dubs are crying out for a new fighter to break through so they can get behind them I would love to see Peters take control of the Hylands as they could garantee a number of cards between them in Dublin and if marketed right could well move into the o2 IF 1 of the lads wins the European title.

 

Khoren Gevor is set to fight Sebastian Zbik in Germany on 17th July so that fight wont happen..

 

I think people look at Barkers last fight in the wrong light, he went to war with a guy he shouldnt have and fought to his own weaknesses, he came out on top and must have learnt a lot from that one fight alone.:good

 

So it will probably be Proska so. Not as dangerous as Gevor but a tough fight nonetheless.

Against Lee in Ireland would make a small fortune. Come on Darren, thats the fight we all want to see! Make it happen bud! :yep
