Darren barker vs Matthew macklin 18th of sep, who wins?

How do you come to that conclusion? Or are you just trying to provoce a reaction?

If Barker fights anywhere near the way he did last time out in such an undisciplined manner he's getting dropped or stopped. It's all very well proving you can go toe-to-toe but last time out was just stupid in my opinion.

I think Barker's gotta start quick and clever in this one. Get early rounds in the bank, start tying Macklin up and frustrate him. But I can see the occasion getting to Barker. I think Macklin is a bit too seasoned for him and has terrific power which Barker wont match or handle.

IF the fight goes ahead (I hold thy breath) I go for Macklin by stoppage.

 

barker on good form is a stunning boxer when he brawls hes shat but if he boxes he will win a UD or late tko

could go either way but If I had to put money on it I think Macklins Viscous body shots will hurt barker and he would stop in the the 11th or 12th round.

 

Went with macklin but wouldn't be surprised to see barker out-box him. Either a stoppage for macklin or a points win for barker.

 

I'm gonna go for a mid to late stoppage for Macklin. He wouldn't have taken this scrap unless he was fully confident of beating Barker. Barker has a dodgy chin, poor stamina and doesn't have much power to gain Macklin's respect. He might win the first couple of rounds but then Macklin will up it a gear and Barker will be on his arse.

Can't wait for this scrap.

They'll both go back to fighting bus drivers with the ''let's wait until it's bigger'' shite that seems to be ruining the domestic and European scene these days.

Neither of them are world class and this fight isn't going to get any bigger.

just heard that Macklin is flying out to LA to train with Roach very soon.

also heard if he wins that then he is lining up Andy Lee next.

 

I favour Barker, with his injury dealt with he has the tools to outbox Matt.

 

Macklin wont fight lee after barker he aint stupid why would he risk his world title shot by fighting someone who could beat him?
Macklin is boxing barker on september to shake the ring rust and because he knows he will beat him........
