barkers fought some decent competition for his experience, but i've never seen him ruffled at all. always really composed. it must be hard for his mgt to decide how quickly to step him up.

he could probably do with another 12 rounder before getting a british title shot. him against smith or macklin could make an interesting eliminator for the title.

Anyone watch the walker v butlin fight afterwards?!
I thought that was a good fight but walker faded badly in the second half.
He could of stopped the other guy but didnt have enough in the tank to do it

Very good fight. I was going to turn the tv off and sort out the wife but when the tv guys said it was a very good fight I thought **** it I'll keep watching for a few min's.

Butlin is decent and deserves a bit of building up. Walker has been in a couple of good fights and although I am not sure if he can make an impact on the domestic championship level still, he could have a nice go at it.

I agree butlin is decent and has not had easy fights. He fights again at york hall on april 11th.

Walker is from the same town as me and he was said to have given up boxing but is obviuosly back now. I thought he had great movement to start but was so easy for butlin to jab at times and took to many uppercuts on the inside.
He is 31 now so his best is probably behind him but if he gets his fitness back and gets a good next fight booked I hope he could do something.
