Yeah he looks like a sharp little boxer. Question marks about his durability/stamina maybe but it should be a learning experience for him.

Confirmed - Gavin McDonnell is Jamie's brother. I was wondering.

Drinking game. Every time they say 'twins,' or 'the mcdonnell family,' drink. Easy way to get going :yep

I sincerely doubt Luke Campbell's nuts have even dropped into place yet. :blood

    Haha yeah.

This is why boxing is so cool! I didn't see that coming. He did absolutely nothing to be worried of in the first 5 rounds. And then suddenly everything turns around.

End of the fight reminded me little bit of Molina-Bey. Molina couldn't produce any dangerous work and then suddenly out of no where he catches him with one punch and rallies to the stoppage. Kinda same story but in the different level of course.

Wood dropped his workrate in the 4th which was a bit of a worry, like he was trying to conserve his stamina, and he was getting caught with the hook a little too often. But it did come unexpectedly in the 6th, thought it might go longer.

Yeah, even though I had McDonnell losing the 4th and 5th there was a creeping sense of him maybe coming on soon.

I figured that would manifest in him taking more rounds in the 2nd half, though (unless Wood found a second wind) - not doing that. :scaredas:

 Hard to believe Amir Khan for example is only a year older than him.

Hamilton wore a flamboyant purple getup and top hat into the ring. :blood

Not an understated personality, is he?

    Round 1

Woodhouse is meeting Hamilton in the middle of the ring and sticking a jab. Woodhouse ducks away, rolling his head under the Hamilton jab outside. Hamilton is doubling a jab at long range, then retracting his left arm and placing it vertically against his cheek. Woodhouse is waiting on Hamilton. Woodhouse is caught by a right hand as Hamilton falls in. Right on the body by Hamilton. Woodhouse is standing outside, not throwing anything. Hamilton shrinks back, head locked up between his perpendicularly crossed arms. Hamilton feels out the distance with a jab and falls in with a right hand on the shoulder. Clinch. Woodhouse is going for the body and takes a scraping jab along the side of the neck. Jabs on the body by Hamilton, reassembling his quirky guard when done and sitting back.

    10-9 Hamilton
